Krystal Demaine, PhD is a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC), Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT), and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). She currently holds positions as Associate Professor of Expressive Therapies at Endicott College and Adjunct Faculty at Lesley University. She has over fifteen years of private clinical practice in music therapy. Her professional scholarship and research has included study on music and the brain, east–west perspectives of creative arts therapy, and topics on creative compassion and pedagogy. Krystal enjoys writing, yoga-ing, traveling, playing, and being creative with friends. She lives in Beverly, MA, USA with her son Ezra and their dog Sage.
